Bottle poured into lager glass. Copper-brown color with minimal tan head. Aroma is very rich, lightly roasted malt. Taste is malt, caramel, chocolate, and light molasses. Good feel. Overall, I’m not that impressed.

Onslow (1160) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Medium brown brew with tan head that soon fizzles. Aroma of caramel, toasted grain, a little hops and a little ethanol. Taste is sweet caramel, some chocolate, roasted grain; a nice dryness emerges late int he swallow and slakes the sweetness at the end of the swallow. Palate is average, a little sticky. A very enjoyable brew.

Bottle. Dark red pour with a very thin tan head. Aroma: Caramel and toasted malt. Taste: Sweet mixture of caramel and malt with a smooth, semi-dry finish. Palate: Average carbonation, sticky texture and medium bodied. A much better effort than some of their other offerings.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is a malty but fruity note, bubble gum mixed with nice roasted toasted malts. Appearance is a clear brown with an off white head that diminishes quickly to a soapy film. Taste has got a really nice balanced flavor, wheat notes, malts, and yeast. Palate is medium to high carbonation with a lingering malt aftertaste. Overall, Good stuff. Cheers!

Pours a solid dark amber brown with thin tan head, no lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt up front and dominant. Flavor matches and has a bit of graininess. Surprisingly full bodied. Pretty decent.

Bottle… Florida Craft Beer and Wing Fest 2012… Brilliant, deep, new penny-copper lager with a small, frothy, off-white head. Good retention. Caramel, molasses and medium-toasted malts compose the aroma and flavor. Full-bodied and velvety with lazy carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet, malty, and then Mojave-dry. This is quite nice.
