vinivini (296) - BELARUS - MAR 13, 2014
Cloudy yellow, tall beautiful head. Smells of fruit, clove. Aroma of banana, bread, yeast. The taste is firstly sweet bekoming rather dry on the way to finish. Finishes empty. Fruity aftertaste with a hop note. Acceptable Weizen but not among the leaders.

wimpyjoe (2950) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2014
Can. Yellow-blonde, no head. Has a nice wheat aroma with a zesty fruitiness to it and a steady taste for this beer style although it would be improved if the body was not as thin as it is.

Light orange yellow, hazy, big frothy white head that dissipates, some lacing

Taste of fruity pale malts, wheat, soft banana and clove, some apricot, slightly astringent, bit watery, flavour diminishes in the middle
Palate - soft carb, light body, little powdery, a bit sweet. Finish is quite rapid, dab of bitter wheat
Overall - Average hefe, little dull but not too bad

CAN 50CL. Look: dirty yellow and cloudy with a off-white, big, creamy head with good retention. Aroma: mostly fruity/estery: banana, pine-apple, a bit dusty and maybe too perfumy. Flavour: wheat, bit spicy, light astringent bitterness. Body a bit too thin.

500ml bottle (Regalia, Tallinn) - shared by Marduk - thanks!
Pleasant wheaty aroma, sweetish. Cloudy orange, ice-cream float head, fairly persistent, some of it lasts for the whole glass. Slightly bread and buttery body, even down to the salt. Full-ish palate, smooth and with pleasant carbonation. Finish keep the salty butter. Anna calls it papery. Occasionally I get that too. Feels a bit dead. However, certainly drinkable.

beedman (60) - Wonju, SOUTH KOREA - AUG 5, 2012
500ml can from Home Plus, Wonju South Korea. Pours a pleasant straw color wirh appropriate foam. Aroma is malty with some clove esters. Taste is fairly standard for a weiss, but there is something just a bit funky in the aftertaste. This is not too exciting but it’s a pretty good find in South Korea.
