Deep brown to black, ruby highlights. Tall dense off-white head, stays. Aroma of hay, minimal roast, some cardboard. Light body. Watery texture. The mouthfeel is watery. Dry diluted taste of roasted malts & grassy hops. Mediocre.

Dark brown colored to almost black, small to medium beige creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is of caramel, malt, toasted malt, some chocolate and nuts. Taste is caramel, chocolate and toast but also quite metallic, low grassy bitterness with a roasted dry finish and a toasty aftertaste, some cardboard as well. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.

0.5l can. Dark brown body, light brown head. Aroma of sweet bread, cocoa and chocolate with some dark fruits maybe. Taste of chocolate, dark fruits, some metal and sour grains. Watery mouthfeel. Not too bad but I don’t like that it has no roasted character at all.

Legvizesebb, abszolút semmilyen barna amihez valaha szerencsém volt. Habja mosogatólötty-szerű, utóíze savankás, cukros, higított medvecukor emlékeivel. Egyedül a szaga árulkodik a színéről. Legalább jól ráfaragtam az árara is.

500ml can as Kaiserwin Schwarzbier from Merry Season in Xiamen. Same brewery and abv. Pours black with a thin off white head. Aroma of malt with chocolate and coffee. Sweet finish, a bit thin.

Can, 0.50l. Clear dark brown color with large frothy light brown head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of cereals, mildly caramel, mild roasted malt and vegetables. Taste starts with sweet roasted malt and mild coffee notes, following is sour grainy, while finish is light bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate. Slightly better than crappy lagers...
