COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A new twist on an old classic, we started with the basis of a nice German-style lager, but then went all Pacific Northwest on it using assertive American hops like Cascade, Chinook and Columbus. Light bodied, golden in color with a clean malty backbone and infused with a touch of hop goodness. Neo-American Lager.

Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with some thin white head. Nose is a nice blend of fruit, bread, and citrus; apples, mild orange, nice white bread with honey. Flavor is the same, solid maltiness but smooth, light lemon, light orange, honey, light hay. I just assumed I wouldn’t like this, but actually I did. Drinkable and well put together.

Draft. Arrived at the table a clear copper with a skim of a beige head. The subtle aroma featured some mild caramel maltiness, a little corn, some cereal graininess, and the faintest hints of citrus. Went down relatively thin and crisp. The taste started with some light caramel and a cereal graininess. Touches of grapefruit and lemon were evident at the end. Very clean, drinkable, and refreshing.

Draft. Crystal clear apple juice body with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, orange/grapefruit, light lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, lemon lager, some bread. Light body, some effervescence, clean, easy to drink.
