An American fruit beer made with Black Currants. Red in color with a pinkish head, fruity, slightly sweet with a tart finish.

Draft. Clear violet body, pink head. Aroma is moderately sweet, currant. Taste is medium sweet, currant, somewhat Shastaish. Light-medium body, light stickiness.

Draft on 11/12/10. Arrived at the table a clear deep burgundy color with a smallish quartz head. A tart aroma featuring lots of wheat, berries, a hint of caramel, and some lemons. The palate is thin, crisp, and refreshing. A touch of moderately sweet caramel upfront in the taste. Some breakfast cereal wheatiness follows. Things finish off with lots of tart berries along with a little lemon. Quite tasty and enjoyable.
