An unclear amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and oranges, and the flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops and grapefruit (Cascade?). Nice flavor - it was listed at 8% ABV at my visit, which I didn’t notice in it - but then again - it might not be right.

(5/10/03): The brewer told me that this beer is constantly changing, hence the name. So don't expect what I describe to be what you experience. Light orange body with minimal white head. Aroma is sweet orange and coriander. Orange dominates the flavor, though there's also coriander and banana. The finish is acidic in a way that clashes with the main flavors.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2006 Draft... This beer rocks!... Milk chocolate, caramel and flowers in the nose. Clear, deep amber hue. The flavor is very malty, lightly sweet, lightly pungent and fruity. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel. Pillow-soft carbonation. Lightly tart, dry finish with a whisper of damp straw at the wee end. Excellent ale from an excellent and creative brewery.

On tap at Franklins, Hyattsville on 14 July 2006. Not that much more to this than the APAs to be honest. The malt in the aroma is a bit sweaty and clammy but the hops are good again.

Sampled on tap on 7/14/06 at the RBSG: Pours a hazy copper orange with a thin and well-lacing white head. Big, fresh grapefruity hoppy and lightly caramel malty aroma. Body starts with a pleasant toasty caramel malty sweetness with a ton of fresh citrusy hops. A real nice, balanced and flavorful beer.

Draft at RFD night. Moderately murky soft orange color, a bit dark. The hop nose is at first good, sweet and resiny, but then it smells more like a sweat sock (BO) when it lingers in the nose. Prickly in the finish, more smooth up front. Slight lactic sourness, which to me kills this one. Soap and floral scents in there as well. It started out with promise from the liquid-cream-hop nose, but didn’t finish. Still a good beer.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit, pine, and a nice resiny flavor. Good bitterness. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine resin lingers.

Courtesy of hopscotch. Pours clear copper with frothy tan head and mild lacing. The mild aroma is malty with roasted malts, sweet caramelized malts and some faint pine hops. The taste starts with a medium level of pine hop bitterness and a dose of earthiness. The caramelized and roasted malts hit midway as the pine hop bitterness builds. It gets thin for a moment as the finish approaches. Some malty roastiness lingers into the after taste.

Draught @ Brewpub Hazy orange, average head and lacing. Nose of earthy pine like columbus and juicy spruce. A bit husky in the flavor. Finishes sharp and sweet in the tail. Decent, but reallys draws on you.
