Our modern spin on British-style bitter with assertive American hops like Chinook, Columbus, Amarillo and Simcoe. This "mini I.P.A." makes a great beer for a session in the pub or in the yard.

16oz pour at the brewery pours a clear orange with some frothy white head. Nose of crisp orange, lemon, mild soap, some cracker. Crisp in the mouth, crackery, orange, pine, soap. Clean finish, very drinkable.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is crisp fruity, citrusy and grapefruity. Mild malt base, grapefruity and light citrusy flavoured. Light bodied. Bitter, dry and citrusy into a smooth fruity finish.

Draft. Arrived at the table a hazy rust color with a smallish beige head. There was a pleasant aroma that featured lots of freshly cut grass, lemons, grapefruits, zesty citrus rinds, and some biscuity maltiness. Went down relatively medium-bodied. The taste started with a fair biscuity maltiness and some sweet caramel. Lots of lemon, grapefruits, and zesty citrus rinds were present at the end. There was a grassy, drying finish that lingered. I was a bit surprised that the ABV was so low - didn’t seem like it one bit.
