On tap. Lightly hazy amber with some lacing, white head. Nose was big American C hops, pine, citrus, a little honey. Flavor is the same, lightly malty, sticky hops, citrus. Full, bitter finish. Nice, albeit standard, DIPA.

Draft. Lightly hazed amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit, some pine/pineapple. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, pine/pineapple, light alcohol burn. Medium-full body, some resin.

Draft on 12/31/11. Showed up at the table a slightly hazy copper with a skim of a beige head. Standard I2PA aroma profile - pungent pine, grapefruits, citrus rinds, and plenty of caramel to balance things out. Went down medium to full-bodied and kinda sticky. The taste was pretty standard as well - ample caramel maltiness upfront, lots of biscuity qualities in the middle, and a great deal of bittering, drying grapefruit & citrus rinds at the end. Some spiciness was present here and there. The 8.5% ABV was very well-hidden. Well-done, but kinda forgettable.
