Draft on 12/31/11. Showed up at the table a slightly hazy copper with a skim of a beige head. Standard I2PA aroma profile - pungent pine, grapefruits, citrus rinds, and plenty of caramel to balance things out. Went down medium to full-bodied and kinda sticky. The taste was pretty standard as well - ample caramel maltiness upfront, lots of biscuity qualities in the middle, and a great deal of bittering, drying grapefruit & citrus rinds at the end. Some spiciness was present here and there. The 8.5% ABV was very well-hidden. Well-done, but kinda forgettable.
