Draft. Clear dark amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, cherry. taste is moderately sweet, cherry, caramel, light alcohol warming. Sticky medium-full body.

Draft at the source. Hazy amber color, small white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of straw, grass, pine. Taste is slightly boozy butterscotch with decent balance.

Draft on 02/03/12. Served in a tulip glass. Arrived at the table a hazy rust color with a smallish beige head. Caramel, candi sugar, plums, a yeasty tanginess, and some citrusy hoppiness were present in the aroma. Went down relatively thin to medium-bodied. There were no real surprises taste-wise - the flavor started with some caramel and candi sugar and transitioned to some plums and dark fruits. There was a fair amount of citrus rinds and a light grapefruitiness at the slightly bitter end. Warming alcohol was noticeable the whole way through. Not very memorable.
