3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ApisAles (1402) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Not sure what iteration of this beer I tried, but it was on tap at the restaurant in August 2012. Hazy yellow pour, thin white head. Aroma is slightly Belgian yeasty, with a little bit of malt. Super mild aroma and the flavor is very mild too. Mild is probably the best descriptor for this one. Not bad.

On tap 11/30/10: Pours a slightly hazy orange bronze with a creamy off-white head. Has a lightly sweet biscuity nose with some light fruity notes and orange citrus. Starts with average body and light malty sweetness with some mild coriander spice and a touch of tartness before a bittersweet finish. Could use more complexity, but is fairly drinkable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 kbutler1 (1260) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 5, 2010
Growler. Pours a lightly hazed straw color with a thin layered head that colors around the glass. Banana, citrus, spice, and almost an apple aroma in the nose. Light mouthfeel. Great tasting and very easy drinking. Sweet green apple taste along with a very mild bitterness in the end. Citrus and almost some zest with spice.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 lamas (1201) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Draft on 10/21/10. Arrived at the table a strangely murky glowing gold color with a skim of a tan head. A pleasant aroma of sour lemons, tart oranges, citrus rinds, a touch of grapefruit, yeasty funk, and a bit of spiciness. Goes down medium-bodied and kinda creamy here and there. Some sweet honey flavors upfront in the taste. A mildly drying biscuity maltiness follows. Plenty of tangy citrusy qualities at the end along with hints of spice. Not as funky as other saisons, but definitely a solid attempt at the style.
