BBB63 (3767), La Porte, Indiana, USA Dec 12, 2007 Tap at brewery with Aaron and family and I should have listened to Aaron who recommended this beer, (sorry buddy): Cloudy amber hue with a lasting foamy head and very good lace. The aroma has a nice fruity and piney hop vapour, biscuity malt, clove and pepper, and a hint of mango. The taste is initial bitter and acidic with a nice layer of biscuity English pale malt background. Moderate spice and mineral water adds depth. Is a touch soapy or it would have rocked. The beer has good body for the genre, sprite and aggressive. a very refreshing beer and very drinkable APA. This is the beer you should start with if visiting this brewpub. badlizard (1430), San Diego, California, USA Dec 1, 2007 Tasted at brewery. Golden amber with a fizzy white head and a decent hoppy taste and bitterness. CaptainCougar (4625), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 2, 2007 Pours a hazy dark bronze with a nicely-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh, citrusy American hops has a touch of pale malt. Body starts lightly sweet and semi-soapy with some bittering grapefruity hops. Supposed to be close to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and accomplishes that pretty well. illinismitty (1397), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jan 17, 2007 Pours medium amber with a white head. Aroma caramel and orange zest. Flavor of toffee, hay, and grapefruit. Perhaps a tad too sweet. Long bitter finish. ryan (1682), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Jan 17, 2007 Hazey pale body with tiny white head. The aroma is bread, grapefruit and tangerine. The favor is very hoppy and dry, lots of grapefruit and floral hops, quite bitter. Medium/light body with fine carbonation and a very bitter end.
