Franklins Smokey the Beer

I’ll say it up front, I do not enoy smoked beers. This came in the sampler glass with an orange color with a frothy white head. Slightly wheaty/grainy aroma just a hint of smoke. Slightly grainy, slightly yeasty flavor but the initial flavor has little smoke. The light smoke flavor comes in at the end which coats the back of the tongue and palate. Not much else here other than the smoke flavor, which I don’t care for to begin with.

Hazy, light amber body with a creamy off-white head. The aroma is light smoke, bready and herbal. The flavor is biscuit, some caramel, hickory and grassy. light body, soft carbonation.

Lightly hazed amber body with creamy beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some smoke, herbal, turpentine. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, smoke, light herbal, turpentine. Low carbonation, light-medium body, light stickiness.
