1 L bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and dark toasted malty flavoured. Fruity, hoppy and dry bitter flavoured. Bitter and dry herbal into the finish.

Draft on 04/02/11. Arrived at the table a hazy mahogany color with a thick antique white head. There was a subtle aroma of caramel, toffee, toasted grains, dark fruits (mainly plums and cherries), and hints of berries. Went down thin to medium-bodied. Some sweet caramel was present upfront in the taste along with some plums. There was some oakiness and a burnt graininess in the middle. Some mildly tart cherries were present at the end. A slightly bitter finish with touches of warming alcohol throughout.

Draft. Clear garnet body tpopped by creamy beige head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, plum/raisin, some caramel, molasses. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, molasses, some plum/raisin, light wood. Light-medium body, light stickiness.
