On tap 5 oz. sampler at Franklin 's Restaurant, Brewery and General Store in Hyattsville, MD. Clear, coppery dark orange with an off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, citrus, cardamon and pale malt. Taste of caramel, herbal hops, pale ale, light fruit, nuts, lemon and mild pine. Medium/light body and medium/low carbonization. A decent, albeit malty, English pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Cloudy amber color, not too pale. Flavor is a bit better than your average pale also, with lots of malt and subtle fruit.

Draft at brewery. Mild pale ale, true to style. Solid but not my preference so I didn’t rate higher.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a murky brown color with a medium frothy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Weak aroma of herbal hops. The taste is big peppery hop notes with a malty finish and some nutty notes. Medium bodied. Lingering bitterness. Not very good.
