Clear, coppery dark orange with an off-white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of herbal hops, citrus, cardamon and pale malt.
Taste of caramel, herbal hops, pale ale, light fruit, nuts, lemon and mild pine.
Medium/light body and medium/low carbonization.
A decent, albeit malty, English pale ale.

Growler thanks to someone. Pours a clear orange with medium buttermilk foam. Okay retention. Nose is sticky sweet, gummies, salt, must. Taste is buttery, sharply bitter to chemical, artificial sweetener, mealy apple, tannic apple skin :/

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small and off-white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light caramelish. Bitter and fruity flavoured. Malty base, light yeasty touch. Bitter, toasted malty and dry finish.

Pours a medium amber color with a good off-white head and some light lacing. The nose brings forward some citrus and floral hops with some bready malt in the background. Flavor is malty with some hops. Slightly-dry finish after a light-medium body.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy dark copper with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, straw, toast), average hops (floral, pine), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of dates and oak. On tap at Franklins, Hyattsville on 14 July 2006. Hazy amber / copper colour. Decent, assertive hop profile. Pleasant dry malt backbone. Well balanced and quite gutsy. A very enjoyable APA.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a murky brown color with a medium frothy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Weak aroma of herbal hops. The taste is big peppery hop notes with a malty finish and some nutty notes. Medium bodied. Lingering bitterness. Not very good.
