Cask Conditioned at The Malt Shovel, Northampton. Copper coloured with a thin head. This is a dry but sweet malty beer, there is a hazelnut type flavour within the malt then a short sharp hop flavour.

Oh Dear. A micro can do an awful lot better than this. Perhaps they are trying to copy all thoes national bland beers? Be a bit more adventurous this is not very good.

Draught at the Battersea Beer Festival 2004. A dark brown beer with little head. Malty flavour with a hint of nuttiness. A small suggestion of some hops. Fairly average bitter.

Gravity @ The Battersea Pox Festival. A nutty bitter, fairly dry, though with a little giggle of sweetness in the swallow and along the roof of the mouth. In the finish the malt lingered into a rancid pale malt Marris Otter type area, losing a few points. This may or may not have been the fault of the Festival rather than the brewer.
