Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig. Geschmack hefig, bananig fruchtig, minimal würzig.

Weizenpiwos sind manchmal heftig. Dieses schlägt in diese kerbe. Muffig, dumpf, abgestanden und natürlich rottig-hefig. Irgendwie trinkbar. Irgendwie.

Not that I ever have been a big Hefeweizen fan, but this one was just awful. Poured out in a cloudy amber colour with big head and medium body. Awful aroma of yeast and brown bananas. Taste of ripe yeast, skunk, overripe fruits, straw and brown sugar. Very unpleasant beer.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-yeasty. Fruity with hints of apricot. Mild sourish. Finish less yeasty. Fine malty-fruity aftertaste. Nice!

Sehr lecker, wenngleich mir das Unertl aus Haag in Oberbayern lieber ist. Insgesamt ein sehr leckeres Tröpfchen! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Heard about this Beer over 20 years ago when i met Franz-Xaver Unertls Granddaughter. So it took me some time to finally taste this beer. 0,5 l bottle. BB Jan 13 caramel, banana, clove, cereal, citrus, hay, orange, cloudy, frothy, white foam, medium sweetness, medium sourness, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation Very nice and not too sweet Hefeweizen.

A bit cloudy, nice creamy head. Wheat and yeast aroma. A little sweet, mildly bitter, with some fruity notes. Overall a nicely balanced and pleasant Hefeweizen.

Bottle by 15.03.12. Nose heavy yeast (and for a flash I thought acetone) and lemon and banana. Cloudy golden body with a sudsy off-white head, clings. Taste is tart and only lightly sweet, that acetone off-note is definitely there in a small dose before the yeast and bready comes on. Lemon is surprisingly strong throughout, esters and phenols backed way off. Very crisp and a little sharp, fullish body. Just fine, refreshing!

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat and cloves as well as lighter notes of banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of banana, malt, and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.
