Bottle. Pours light brown with a small head. The aroma is light cream and hefe. The flavor is some hefe, a bit of banana, but also some roastiness and a touch of sour. A solid dose of metal in this one too. Lots of carbonation.

Draft at Edel-Weiss in Norridge. Pours a pale brown, darker than the normal hefe but still somewhat pale for a Dunkelweizen. Nose is spicy and cloves/bananas dominate. Taste is pretty well balanced, mildly roasty and distinct Bavarian flavors of wheat bread and spice and a slight tartness in the middle. Very nice one, actually.
