COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep and dark colored, cloudy with yeast. Brewed with a darker roasted malt which adds some maltiness to the refreshing flavour of the Hefe-Weissbier.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2004 This crap was horrible. It smelled worse than a sack of assholes and tasted like muddy water with rancid donkey piiss mixed in. I like hefeweizens but my opinon of dunkelweizens are that they suck ass. I dont know why the slimy fuck on the bottle is smiling he must be a real jerk off.

Rusty amber color with a large, off-white head. Aroma is darker yet less full than their Hefe-Weisse and slightly roasty. Flavor is yeasty, spicy, and full. As refreshing as the regular hefe but not as good overall.

Slight banana, citrus, wheat; spicy and acid flavor; a bit dry; a littel funky in flavor and not very appealing

Bottle into small plastic tasting cup, Humulus Lupus @ Jak’s Tap (Chicago). Smelled characteristic (wheaty and acidic). Brown in the cup. Tasted like a wheat beer, but with pleasant creamy malt weaved in. Well balanced flavor. Full bodied and smooth in the mouth. Enjoyable.

Tap in Moscow. This beer pours a beautiful dark color with a very large wheat beer head. Smells of esters and yeasts. Drinks very smooth and refreshing. This is a great dunkel.

Pours a splendid, cloudy rust color with a massive tan head. Aroma is very spicy and fruity, as is the flavor. Bananas, clove, coriander, and cinnamon all present. Flavor also displays a bit of rye-bread flavor, which was very good. Ends grassy. Very good.

This beer did not impress me too much. Very bland and one dimensional. Nice pour. Giant head foamy and yeasty. Nice and spicy in the nose and uptake but all in all very one dimensional. grat

Sampled draught at Bull & Bear Inn, Stockholm.
Muddy orange, creamy head. Lihtly phenolic nose. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and some toffee. Lightly bready. Overall decent, but too clean, and offering too little out of interest.
