Rciesla (3515), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Oct 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark amber body with 3 finger off white head. Nice malty aroma of cereal, caramel and some chocolate. Grainy with a toasted malt flavor and a light hop seasoning. Decent beer. jeremyd365 (109), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Oct 12, 2008 Poured into an 80oz glass boot. Poured very dark with just a bit of light brown head that dissapated pretty quickly. Smelled of coffee and some alcohol could be sensed. The taste was coffee and chocolate and it went down smooth. Despite having on the medium side of a heavy body, this one was quite drinkable, as the boot took just barely over an hour so I would guess. I would definitely get this again, perhaps in a smaller container. Perhaps not! NJBeerman013 (769), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. 500 ml - Pours a cloudy deep copper in color. This brew has a rich malty aroma to go with the slight citrus hop character. It has a slight toasty flavor with a small wheat grainyness. It has a medium body and a slightly oily, cloyingly sweet finish. Very nice. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 6, 2008 (Bottle). Grassy wheat aroma. Cloudy mahogany body, small off-white head. Flavor is tart and clean, but tails off abruptly to a non-existent finish. Not memorable. esox (259), Oulu, Finland Sep 27, 2008 Bottled. Dark amberish-orange to brown. brew with rich, dense and firm head. Aroma is intensively banana estheric, yeasty and slightly hoppy in the finish.
