The aroma is nice, if you can catch a whiff of it. A nice bready aroma with some nice clove. I’m expecting banana, but find it missing. Flavor is nice, I guess. Sharp and yeasty, some nice cinnamon and clove flavor, and finally some banana in the finish. This beer is just nice. Not great, just nice. Very accessible. GG (1615), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2009 Quite the nice combo of dark malts to go with the fantastic banana and clove angle. The aroma is yeast, light fruits (apricots and apples), medium malts with cloves and light banana. Flavor has some nice roasted malts, nothing overpowering, bready, a bit of banana and clove with a suble sweetness. Very nice. Niko100 (102), New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 29, 2009 Dark hazy brown color; Medium very creamy body; Aroma of light malt, citrus & spice; Flavor of malt, banana & apricot; A hint of chocolate/toffee at the finish; I like it - a solid good dunkel-weiss. dionysus (98), Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 29, 2009 Bottle pours hazy brown in color with a creamy off-white head. For some reason, the aroma reminds me of overcooked (not burnt) oatmeal raisin cookies. Flavor is light malt and yeast with the slightest touch of clove. Nothing outstanding, but definately worth a try. judasbeer (240), Budapest, Hungary
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Muddy amber-brown color with thin white head. Fresh citrusy, phenolic aroma. Citruses dominate in the flavor, along with phenolic banana feel and refreshing clove spiciness.
It leaves oily, yeasty feel in the finish. Easy-drinking pleasant dunkel wheat. syton98 (40), USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 21, 2009 Pours hazy brown with a small cream head. Aroma is bold and for me the best part of the beer. Its deep complex with fruit, apricot and prune with malt overtones. Then the first sip and you wonder what happened to the flavor. Yeast and malt flavor flaver dominate while your tast bud search for the flavor of the aroma. Then the beer disappears from your palate. Not impress at all. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2009 Hazy amber with a small head. Nose is big wheat with notes of coriander. Hints of peach and malt. Some apricots. Taste is wheat, some citrus, coriander. Pretty much like aroma. Nice balance but a bit simple perhaps. too much apricots/prunes or something for me. Carbonation is lively.
