Jun 13, 2008 500 ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour. Big, foamy off-white head. Yeast, wheat and banana in the sweet aroma. Spicy, slightly roasted flavour of wheat, nuts with a hint of banana and citrus. Bread-like aftertaste.

Jun 11, 2008 First noticed caramel in the nose and then a lot of wheat and some lemon. Poured a hazy amber with a sustaining white head. Not much happening on the front of the tongue, but it hits you in the back with a bold burst of hefe - that combination of wheat, citrus and flowery hop. Finishes dry.

Jun 8, 2008 Cloudy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma has banana (and phenoles indeed) and some spices. Flavour has banana, spices and bread. Full mouthfeeling, very smooth.

Jun 6, 2008 In my opinion, if Germany didn’t have hefeweisens, beer would be overrated in that country. Thank God for hefeweisens. This one’s my favorite I’ve had thus far. You can keep the head down if you pour it right. It’s EXTREMELY smooth with a solid finish. It’s sweet and tasty! I spent 7 weeks in Germany a year ago and gained 15 pounds thanks to drinking 6 cases of this stuff. I love a meal in a bottle. This one is worth it!

May 30, 2008 Updated: Jul 4, 2008Brown cloudy murk, nice head. Smell of banana and vanilla (phenols). Lots of carbonation. Nice taste, but a bit bland. Pretty good.

May 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a brown colour with lots of fizz, and a large white head. Aroma is primarely wheat & fruit, whereas the flavor is more spicy and malty. Good.
