Smells like a good hefeweizen with hints of orange mixed with the roasted dark barely malts. Mouthfeel was very good. It’s drinkability wasn’t quite as good as it’s counterpart-the regular hefeweizen. Still very nice. kappldav123 (1817), Markkleeberg, Germany

The body is amber in color with the head having a banana like color. The flavor is nice and balanced a bit sweet with many different notes coming thru with a cider-like aftertaste. It looks like it would be thicker & creamer as it rolls over your tounge but is actually watery. Overall a nice beer that will not bloat you if you have a couple of them. Hazy deep amber. Bready and clove aroma, some toast. Flavor is bready with balanacing notes of clove, banana, vanilla, and faint bubblegum. Perhaps not the most over the top beer, but enjoyable. yeah (7), Aveiro, Portugal does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Good beer.
