Deep and dark colored, cloudy with yeast. Brewed with a darker roasted malt which adds some maltiness to the refreshing flavour of the Hefe-Weissbier.

Pours a brown color, topped with a frothy tan colored head. Lasts for some time. Malty aroma, notes of caramel and banana. Slight sweetness and caramel taste in the beginning, some yeasty notes and medium bitterness in the finish. Not my favourite.

Pours mahogany color with a fantastic pillowy, lasting off-white head. The banana ester is at a minimum, which is nice, the phenolic spices are faint, mostly sarsaparilla and licorice flavors. Overall, a nice Dunkelweizen.

Bottle. Brown color with medium fluffy disappearing head. Aroma of yeast, banana, flowery hops and caramel. Taste is medium sweet. Texture is watery. Finish is sweet and rather short. Good dunkelweizen.

As far as wheat beers go, this one is really, really good! I enjoyed several of these over the holidays at my folk’s house, in bottles. The pour is a light brown color with an off-white head. The head doesn’t leave a whole lot of lacing around the glass, though. The nose is full of banana, clove, yeast, bread and some light hops. The flavors are very well-balanced, with more notes of banana, clove, flowery hops, yeast and a bit of toasted malt and caramel. Very delicious wheat beer!

Bottle, 500ml. Pours dark brown, mostly clear, tall foamy light head. Aroma is fruity, wineous, wheat, corn, banana, light vanilla and malt. Mouth feel is light and watery to oily. Carbonation is very soft, almost flat. Taste is quite sweet and somewhat sour, not bitter at all. Flavor is wineous, fruity, wheat, malt, noticeable hop flavors. OK, but simple, slightly boring and very very light.
