But this one is not quite as sweet and savory. This beer is, of course, dark and brown. Pours and looks like a hefe. But the sweet banana is not so prounounced. The feel is more carbonaton and malt going down, and a dry finish. Good beer, but next trip to the liquor store, I’ll pass on this one, and get the plain Franziskaner Hefe. smell is of fermented grass, yeast, some wheat, alcohol,

Franziskaner is one of my favorites. I’ve re-rated this because I found it on tap at the Gnome last weekend.
