anaheim1983 (111), Anaheim, California, USA Feb 1, 2007 Very malty and bready with definate yeasy phenol profile. Very nice that it wasn’t to overpowering on the hefe side. thornecb (1735), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Jan 31, 2007 Pours deep amber into a Weizen glass. Off-white micro head with excellent retention. Roasted malt aromas. Dry and crisp with slight clove finish. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 25, 2007 Bottle Pours a hazy deep carmel color with a nice head and sturdy lacing. Aroma of malty wheaty bananas. Flavor was a soft unfiltered german hef, but deeper and darker. Nice combination. Pretty light on the classic german hef yeast notes. Quite drinkable. Yummy. gopherhockey (4), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA does not count Jan 22, 2007 First tried on tap in a Bavarian Cafe in Sydney. Very nice toffee caramel taste with a hint of banana. My first Dunkel Weissbier and definitely not my last. Having a hard time finding this in Minnesota. BelgianBeerGal (1275), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jan 18, 2007 .5L Bottle. Poured medium brown, with good carbonation and a foamy head that settled slowly. Great flavor and a nice beer overall. Would recommend this dunkelweizen as a good representation of the class. bebop329 (27), USA Jan 17, 2007 Pours a delightful cloudy medium brown color with a thick foamy head that dissapates rather quickly. A nice light mouth feel with plenty of lasting carbonation. Yummy mild nutty flavors with hints of pine and lemon. Light and easy to drink. Very tasty. skibumphishead (180), USA Jan 17, 2007 $2.10 for a bottle of this... it’s a steal... I enjoy this one out of the bottle in the summer, and I’m enjoying it now on the coldest day of year. The carbonation is high and the brown surgar and alcohol flavors dominate. yummy bluesman42@gmailcom (43), Arkansas, USA Jan 17, 2007 A nice smooth, dark, rich weissbier. The color was a deep rich brown. The flavors were nice, with the tanginess expected from weissbier. The mouthfeel, especially, was pretty much perfect--thick and creamy without lingering too much.
