Jwasciuk (194), Lowell, Michigan, USA Jan 2, 2007 pours murky medium brown with a large off-white head. Aroma is malty of carmel and yeast notes of leather. Flavor is sweet and carmel but balanced finishes on the bitter side and short. Light to medium bodied, watery and livley with a clean finish. Lilith (242), Santiago, Chile Dec 30, 2006 Hazy caramel color like a frappe coffe with a medium-sized off-white head. Typical aroma of a hefe-weissen, fruity with notes of banana, bread and honey. Flavor was a bit tart, of lemon, watery and flatly carbonated.

Panzerfaust (393), Santiago, Chile Dec 26, 2006 Pours a hazy light brown/orange color. Head is big creamy white with medium retention. It laces pretty well.
Aroma is typical for a Hefe-Weizen: full of fruity esters. It shows notes of banana, vanilla, wheat and light spices. Enticing.
Taste is sweet with a slightly tart finish. It has smooth banana and vanilla flavors with soft herbal notes and a cidery hint in the end.
Very smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Finish is a bit chalky. Low carbonation. Alcohol unnoticeable. A good Dunkelweizen but probably not the best bottle.
Bought in Mendoza, Argentina

Stew41 (1042), Caulfield, Australia Dec 24, 2006 Standard issue to look at – light chocolate brown with no head to speak of. Sweet wheat beer notes on the nose, quite attractive. Thins out a touch in the palate as some drying characters take hold. Very similar to the Schnieder in this respect but the beer remains very drinkable.
