May 22, 2006 Pours a brown caramel color w/ a tall creamy froth. Aroma of fresh bananas with slight medicine. Medium nectar w/ ample residual ffers. Flavors are bright and fruity w/ a defined banana tropshire. Slight clove. Crisp and refreshing. Overall: one of the best. Highly recommended.

May 6, 2006 Hazy caramel/amber color with a medium white head that lasts and laces the glass nicely. Aroma is wheaty, mildly sweet. Flavor too is wheaty with mild fruity/banana tones, mild sweetness and leaves palate cleanly (a little too watery ending).

May 4, 2006 500 ml bottle. Hazy caramel pour with a medium white head. Nose is wheaty and spicy, much like it’s yellow Hefe-Weisse brother. In fact, aside from a very light toastiness, it IS it’s brother. Good, but not great.

Apr 28, 2006 Bottle 500ml from Citymarkt Kaufhof in Stuttgart. Hazy dark brown body under a medium lasting off-white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavour of clove and banana. Watery mouthfeel and a bit too sweet for my taste (24.04.2006).
