Deep and dark colored, cloudy with yeast. Brewed with a darker roasted malt which adds some maltiness to the refreshing flavour of the Hefe-Weissbier.

A beautiful dark colour. A smooth yet interesting taste. Dunkels are right near the top of my personal list.

Kedvencem a dunkelweiss, ezzel mellé nem trafálsz. Igyál-egyél eleget, salátát is, ne csak meleget.

Color marrón caramelo, medianamente turbio, con capa de espuma de un blanco algo sucio de dos dedos de grosor (buena retención). Carbonatación media pero insuficiente en boca (textura acuosa, le iría mejor algo más de efervescencia en boca). Aroma a trigo, malta tostada, levadura. Más complejo y apetecible que el de la Hefeweizen. Sabor a trigo, también malta tostada, fresco, sencillo y con mucho carácter. Un acierto.

Dark amber, bit reddish with medium to small off white head. Slightly sour aroma with sweet notes. Quite strong soureness and nmalty sweetnes, some roasted caramel notes, all follwed by medium biternes with coriander notes. These nptes are also in the aftertaste.

Have been keeping a 1/4 keg of this dunkelweizen in my beer cooler for seven years and have not found anything better for general consumption. It has become hard to find in the U.S. in bottles so if you see it, buy it. Fortunately, my local beer distributor has procured it on a regular basis. Dark, cloudy pour with caramel, roasty malt, ripe banana, nuts and an earthy finish. The best thing about it is the low ABV.

Taste: Brown sugar, overripe banana, toffee, bread, spices, vanilla, nuts. Sweet malty mouthfeel. Almost no bitterness at all. Medium body with a fruity, spicy finish. Good dunkelweizen.
