Thanks to Salü in Wolfsburg, Germany! Cloudy deep amber coloring with a two fingers of head. Sweet, smooth, tasty. Easy on the palate. Easily has a taste of banana. In parts of Germany it is not uncommon for this beer to be drank with banana juice poured into it before being drank. Quite tasty.

Bottle at bar. Brown color, white head. Sweet fruity taste with banana, herbs and plum. Sweet/sour finish. Very nice dunkel.

500ml bottle. Pours hazy caramel brown with a medium head. Aroma is caramel, raisin and slightly sour wheat. Taste is a bit bland, some dirty wheat. Raisin on the finish. Hints of banana.

Bottle. Pours hazy brown to deep amber medium off-white head with good staying power and decent lacing. Smells of wheat with a bit of caramel and some yeast. Taste is wheaty, very slightly sweet with some roasted malt body and a touch of lemon. Crisp and refreshing.

Pours cloudy dark brown color with a large, foamy head. Aroma of banana, spices and a lot of stuffy wheat. Flavor of very faint banana, grain and wheat. Balanced and full-bodied.

i loved the standard franziskaner hefe. this is not quite as good, but still quite excellent. typical hefe banana sweetness, but some additional roasty malts. easy to drink.

Bottle Beautiful reddish-orange colour, brown, medium head. Aroma of some sweet-sour ripe banana, malt and some hefe. Sweet-bitter taste, some roasted malt, some banana, dark, but light hefe.

Pint 9 bottle. Pours dark brown with reddish/yellow hints with a creamy odd white head. The aroma of wheat is sharp and crisp, with undertones of roasted malt. The flavor is pretty much the same. Sweet cracked wheat over roasted malts gives this a wonderful flavor. Very good beer.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2012 500ml bottle. Wheat and malt aromas. Pours dark copper colour, very hazy, with nice fine-bubled light brown head, really persistent. Some lacework. Medium body and carbonation. Tastes wheat, some of bread, sweet and sour flavours, with an average sweet finish. A classic dunkel weissbier, really easy to drink.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet webshop. Pours murky brown with a big frothy white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast and banana. Taste is light sweet malty, wheat and banana. Medium body.Light hopped, easy to like this one.
