UPDATED: APR 29, 2010 My favorite german wheat. I originally rated this a 5 but i have had better beers since. Still one of my favorites. Lovely banana, clove, and citrus flavors. Great beer.

Hefe-Heineken, albeit not as sour. Golden amber, naturally cloudy appearance. What does naturally cloudy mean? Compare it to Pyramid’s rendition, for example. High carbonation interfered with the front, mild yeast-wheat flavors present in the mid. Finish was somewhat sour.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2005 Dense yellowy orange appearance, good head formation. Well spiced peppery clove nose. Sweet banana flavor, clove is well emphasized, touches of peppery spice, nice complexity.

Not bad but not the best in the style. Paulaner is still better.

Pale color. Aroma with spices, some citrussy banana effects. Easy-drinkable. Pleasant wheat.

Very good but I like Paulaner hefe-weizen slightly more. This is still one of my favorite beers.
