I really enjoy this beer. It is very well balanced and almost has a champiagn aftertaste. Slight banana flavor that’s not overdone.

This is a bavarian hefe to the T. Attractive cloudy pale gold. Citrius on the palate with restrained clove/banana compared to other german hefes I’ve had. Extremely crisp and refreshing. A perfect beer for the hot spring day on which I sampled it.

pale hazy yellow like a heron’s beak. a billowing creamy stout-like head, but blonde. a brisk clean citrusy yeast aroma over a suggestion of english muffin. big hefe in the nose for sure (and i customarily don’t care for big things in my nose). the taste is all citrus, some spice, bracing like slapping on an aftershave, clarion and festive on the palate; great, cleansing, except that, tsk, i’ve never been ga-ga about lemon. it’s a brewing marvel, a classic, just not my type.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2003 Sweet yeasty aroma. Banana, bread. Orange-amber cloudy with pillowy lacing off-white head. Light-medium carb & silky watery body. Smooth taste - wheat, yeast, fruity, citrusy. Sediment gives nice bittering in the finish and hops have a nice tang. Great German wheat.

Good, straightforward german wheat beer. Its very smooth and nice. Just as expected, no surprises. Not very complex, but not bad.

I am not a huge fan of wheat beer. This one is a strong tone too. Not for the faint of heart. You gotta love wheat beer to drink this crazy stuff.

This is a zesty, cloudy wheat beer that is marketed as a malt liquor in the United States because of its high alcohol content (about 5.5%). The beer is “cloudy” because it is unfiltered and bottle conditioned. The malt is derived from a combination of wheat and barley. When I stick my nose in the glass, I smell spicy fruit aromas: apple and lemon. Finishes slightly oily on the tongue, but the taste is light and refreshing, more sweet than bitter.
