The original fresh wheat beer taste. Franziskaner Hefe-Weißbier Naturtrüb is a natural and elegant Weissbier from Bavaria with a lush white foam. The copper golden wheat beer unfolds with an aromatic fragrance and harmonious banana and citrus fruits.

Bottle: Beautiful glowing apricot-gold with a thick, rocky white head. The nose revealed a similar level of quality, expressing sweet orange spice and enticing clove aromas. Some fruit spice and very subdued banana. However, the flavours emerging felt somehow disharmonious; sparkling citrus and savoury wheat with some background DMS echoes. Nevertheless, this is a pleasing and racy little number that I feel is one of the great Hefe’s.

Pretty good, nice yeasty taste, especially good cold, would be a very nice refreshing beer. Nothing much beyond that to say.

wheat, yeast, fruity, citrusy.nice bittering in the finish and hops have a nice tang, but far not one of the best.

Nice white foamy head. Golden colour. Aroma of spices, yeast and tobacco. Lots of carbonation. Flavour of sour bread, wheat, lemon and some bananas. Medium bodiet. Little bitter aftertaste. Like other weisbeers it’s unavailable in a hot summers day.

I love the sweet flavor of this German beer. No matter what mood I’m in, this one does the trick.

Beautiful pour, with fluffy pluming head. Aroma of predominantely fruit. Flavor of bananas, spiceness, and cream. Very smooth and quite refreshing. My first of the style and definitely one of my favorite styles thus far.

Tap. Full, head and cloudy on the pour. Creamy, with some banana and spice. A good Weiss, but just short of being excellent. Still, a very nice beer.

Strong banana flavor with a hint of spice. Typical color and cloudiness. Smooth and easy to drink. Pretty good beer.

Swirling the bottle and adding the yeast, the hefe takes on a beautiful chilled haze - a deep golden bliss. The lively head settles into a creamy pillow top to compliment the lustrious body. The aroma is slightly musty, noting ripened banana mostly, but hinting at the spiciness ahead. The body is creamy and smooth, highlighting the yeast’s fruity and sweet esthers, which are conveyed beautifully by the smoothness of the wheat. The clean, crisp finish suits this wiezen perfectly. Very enjoyable and very drinkable.

Very creamy white rocky head. Noces is wheat, citrus and yeast, maybe even a hinty of clove? Body poured with with a amber-gold color. I had a _LOT_of huge chunks of yeast floating around in the beer after I poured. Looked almost disgusting, and with most beers you don’t want that in your beer, but with the hefeweizen’s that is part of it. I just thought it was a little much I guess. I’ll have to try another bottle and see if it is the same way. Initial flavor was light and citrusy. Finish is slightly hoppy and bananna and clove taste. This is a pretty good beer.
