A pretty standard hefeweizen, made better by the fact that the bottle tells you how to pour it into a glass, so as to get all the delicious yeast into the beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy orange in color with a large head. Strong yeast and banana aromas. Sweet strong fruit influence adds almost a tropical aspect to the taste. Sweetness makes the finish a little sticky.

On tap at the Saucer. Decent head, great smell. Golden in color, a little cloudy. Very fruity. A great hefe, look forward to another. Good buy on draught night.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into shaker glass. It had a profuse off-white head with a murky yellow color. Aroma was of mild cloves and green bananas. Flavor was light and citrusy with a bit of a sourdough bread finish.

I like this non-imposing hefe for its citrus flavors, blend of spices and sweetness. But, to me its more of a session beer than anything spectacular. The finish is kind of dull and there are tastier hefes out there.

Bottle. Just what a hefe should be with the banana citrus and mild spice. It’s just lacking a certain something in the finish. Possibly it’s better fresh.

I really enjoy this Hefe. Nice orange cloudy appearance, with a head that lasts forever. Banana and cloves are apparent. Sweet taste and aroma. I can get this in my area for $9.00 a 12-pak of bottles. Cannot beat that price. It is worth much much more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy orangish body with a volcanic rocky head. Probably the biggest I’ve seen for the style. Aroma is typical banana, clove, yeast, wheat, etc... but later also a hint of alcohol. Flavor is a step above the ’typical’ hefe making this an enjoyable experience. A tad bit of alcohol in the flavor, usually I can’t detect any.
