Smells...well, kind of fishy. beyond that, pleanty of a spicey smell, cloves ginger and cinnamon. Color is nothing impressive, and head is moderate. Palate could use some work, which is my biggest complaint from the beer.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2011 This is another great Weizen and I’m rating this one I had from draught. Great appearance with a mountainess head of froth towering over the rim of the glass. The smell of wheat and a little clove come right off the top. Feels great on the palate and I prefer to drink this one on the warm side (55-60f) in order to the most flavor. possible. Like a good loaf of bread in my belly. Extremely satisfying!

The beer that started my love of wheats. Mine poured just like the picture. Especially helpful since I have the glass (thank you Charlie). Beautiful hazy golden color, fluffy white head, perfect blend of banana and clove phenols. Great wheat taste and mouthfeel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This one pours a light orange with a medium white head. Not being a fan of wheat beers, I liked this beer a lot. I had it off tab and it is not as good out of the bottle.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer poured an orangish amber with a fluffy head. Nicely balanced between the dry, wheaty flavor and the malty sweetness. Overall, one of the better weissen beers I have ever had.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
An unclear orange beer with a very fine head. The aroma is of wheat, yeast, and pretty sweet. The flavor is very light and dominated by wheat and yeast, with no hops. Too light for my liking.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
1/4 draught: Huge creamy white head on a cloudy pale/dark amber liquid. Fruits, yeast, banana, cloves! Great aroma!
Lovely creamy mouthfeel, yeasty malty wheat taste with hints of vanilla/banana in the aftertaste. Very well balanced, hops dont stand out at all.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tawny, cloudy appearance. Sweet with tiny traces of sourness in the creamy texture. Beats the hell out of most wheatbeers that cost twice the price.
