4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 29, 2004 Cloudy golden color with a thick head. Citric tones in the flavor but more subdued in the aroma which is dominated by the wheat. Crisp in mouth, overall extremely refreshing and thirst quenching. Pouring from bottle is extremely important on this beer, since yeast tends to add unwanted bitterness.
One of the few beers where the bottled version is superior to the tap.

On tap at the Bavarian Grill. hazy/cloudy deep yellow with a fat marshmallow head. banana aroma. also has a slight banana taste. not much to this flavor, it’s wheaty and a little bland. very slight bitterness at finish that is almost unnoticeable.

Very good hefe. The aroma had a banana/bubble gum combo. Citrus flavor. The color was a nice medium golden color with a good white head on top.

I prefer this Hefe-Weize over the Paulaner (or any American Weiss Bier knock off). A very nice wheat taste, cloudy orange color, one of my fav. Hefe-Weize beers.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy light orange color, topped with a massive, dense white head. Banana is the most dominant aroma, with a little lemon. Very soft wheat beer. The hops weren’t very spicy, but just a little bit citrusy. The wheat flavors were evenly balanced and not too rich. Easy drinkin’.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Unfiltered yellow appearance with a large, fluffy head. Banana aroma and taste was not as pronounced as in some other German hefe’s; wheat, citrus and spices are more prevelant. Creamy mouthfeel develops from the medium-bodied flavor. Crisp, dry finish.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2006 Pours hazy golden with a big fizy white head. Lots of carbontation. Taste is clove/spice with light citrus. Not as over the top as some hefes. Well done.

Nice gold color with a monster head. Aroma of wheat. Taste is just more wheat with some malt mixed in. Just a hint of yeast and fruit. It is what it is: a hefeweizen. Not too bad; a decent way to celebrate 400!

Gold Coloring. Big Frothy Head. Very good Hefe. Not Really Distinctive. Just Nice and Mellow...Could be Drank in Succession.
