Bottle from Asda. Pours cloudy orange with a fine, fluffy white head. Aroma is spicy, banana-like, wheaty, a touch fruity and a little dusty almost like it has a little damage from light. Flavour is sweet, wheaty and spicy with underlying biscuit character and notes of fruit (banana), bubble gum, alcohol, cereal, bread and a little soap. There is more banana in the aroma than in the taste. Very pleasent and well crafted hefe, excellent.

Draught with dinner at a new resturant. Was the best part of dinner although not served in a tall glass. Fine carbonation head at tastes small bubbles. Not as strong a wheat as most hefeweizens. Very refreshing in October.

Pours a hazy yellow with a nice long-lasting head. Nice lacing. Sweet and light sour. Fruity aromas of yeast and some banana. Low CO2 level. Mild and a bit watery.

The beer poured a cloudy straw color with a tan head and had good lacing. The smell was of spices with a some banana. There was a banana and ester taste, but overall the beer was a little thin. This is a decent hefe, but I have had better.

Hazy straw color, medium head. Aroma of wheat bread,, clove and a hint of pepper. Flavor is bready with bold spices. Very crisp and somewhat dry with a clean finish. Had this at the ballpark and went down well on a hot night.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2005 An excellent Hefe-Weisse. Very large thick head that lasts with a body of cloudy orange. Delicously sweet and fruity taste with hints of banana and apple at first. Has a sour and spicy aftertaste that lingers in the mouth too long. Soft carbonation and not too strong of a yeasty taste. Very well balanced but not as rich of flavor as the dunkel (dark) variety.
