Perfect big white foamy head! Typical hazy orange weizen color as well as sweet banana aroma. Smooth palate, taste is weizen-like sweet banana with citron flavor bitterness. Dry finish. This is another excellent hefeweizen!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy orange color, topped by a thick off white head. Aromas of clove, banana, and citrus waft from my glass. The taste is tar, acidic, and it has a soft banana finish. This beer is well carbonated, which contributes to a tingly sharp sensation in my mouth. This is quite good, and quite refreshing. Certainly not the most complex, but it is quite tasty and hits the spot perfectly on a warm day spent outside brewing beer. Quite fruity, with a bit of sweetness. This beer is light bodied, which helps it to go down easily. This is as good as it gets for warm weather/ in the sun drinking; smooth and thirst quenching.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Metro Wines, Syston, Leicestershire. Delicious aroma - bubblegum and bread. A vision in gold and orange, with a towering white head. Superb flavour - bubblegum again, banana and marzipan. Refreshing and balanced - the initial sweetness relaxes into a level, crisp, full yeastiness. An excellent beer.

Thick white head, with a clody yellow body. Strong clove and citric aroma. Flavor follows the same profile as the aroma. No noticeable banana taste.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft. Cloudy yellow gold color with a small head. Hard to really tell by the plastic mugs they serve at Goat Hill. Nose was typical hefe, banana, clove and citrus. Taste was wheat and lemon. Kinda thin for my liking.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2006 This one improved from my initial evaluation. Nice Hazy pale gold/lemon color, as a good weissbeer should have, aroma hints of orange and lemon. Dominating flavors of citrus and clove. An excellent Weissbier!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thick white head that lasts. Cloudy medium golden color. Light aroma of bananas and spice. Full bodied brew with plenty of carbonation. Sharp wheat flavor. Yeasty aftertaste fades quickly. Nice and lacy all the way down the glass.

Hazy yellow color with a nice thick head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with a taste of fruits and clove. An inexpensive hefe-weizen. Good.
