Bottle into Weizen glass. I’m not inclined to get weis beers, but it was this or Miller Lite, so I thought I’d try it out. Overall, I would say that it was inoffensive, but unimpressive. Even though I don’t usually like weis beers, I like them to try to be the best beers they can. This one was weak and watered down it seemed to me. The aroma was the best part, citrusy with some harsh hoppy biting accent. Orange and hazy in the glass, it had a sizeable white head with ok lacing. Initally, you taste the acidity but it’s not that smooth. Then, feeble and underdeveloped orange and lime flavors emerge and disappear quickly to be replaced by the wheaty aftertaste that wasn’t that strong. Still, better than Miller Lite.

Cloudy orange/gold and quite still. Aromas are sweet malts, candy, wheat, spices and banana. Flavours also have the banana and cloves along with some yeastiness and fruit. Has a nice dry finish. Sticks to the roof of the mouth - in a good way.

Bottle. I bought it at a supermarket. Deep straw colored. Not as complex as I expected but very smooth and easy to drink. Quite nice gentle aroma that I wished was more apparent. Great mouth feel and finish.

Orange with a persistent foamy head. Sweet aroma with a little cloves. Flavour is dominated by abundant corriander or cloves, however there is a lemon influence in the finish. Reasonably complex for a hefe.

Seriously hazy honey gold with a large fine bubbled snowy white head. Aroma is faint citrus floral and sourdoughy when cool while a faint fruity estery develops as it warms. Mild light watery body. Flavours are rather weak malty grain with hint of spices and sourdough when cool with slightly sweeter and more sourdoughy as it warms. Finish is a soft mushy white bread. I definitely prefer the bigger Maisels or the classier Weihenstephaner.

This wheat has a banana/clove dominance, in both the aroma, and on the tongue. The taste is full from start to finish. Carbonation and head are strong, palate is lively.

Rich brown pour with a huge head. Good lacing on the glass. Small amounts of spice in the aroma. Flavor was well developed with hardly any after taste. Spice in the flavor. Texture was nice, nothing too abrasive. A great anytime beer. Very drinkable.

The colour was murky, light orange/straw with a good size white head. Aroma was of cloves to me. The taste firstly was soft banana and a little bubblegum, in the middle came a little lemon and zest and then the cloves reappeared finally it was a little watery at the end. Texture is slightly oily and the body was firm and medium. Very enjoyable!

bottle. Light sediment present, but not much. Moderate white head, light orange body. Little aroma, some lemon and water. Flavor is dull, watery, tastes like watered down bubble gum and clove, with little spicy hops and hardly any sweetness. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but hard to believe that, this stuff has been refrigerated. Will try again.

Cloudy golden to yellow body, the classic nig hefe weizen head. Nothing special about it. Aroma is very yeasty, citus and grape hints too, banana, spices and clove. The flavor is yeasty and wheaty, but i couldnt get much out of it. Very drinkable.
