puboflyons (369), New Hampshire, USA Aug 19, 2008 From the larger bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a significant amount of foamy head that dissolves after a bit. Yeast and something fruity in the aroma. Decent mouth feel. Overall a smooth brew and one of the better hefes out there. f351c4v (207), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2008 Amazing that I’ve never rated this yet. Actually, hefeweizen isn’t my favorite style of beer, but it’s growing on me. Pours a very cloudy brownish-gold color, with a big, fluffy white head. Bready aroma, a touch malty. Smooth mouthfeel gives way to a balanced body with a nice yeast presence.
A staple beer. chilangoglobal (89), Wagerningen, Netherlands Aug 17, 2008 Great personality in this beer, incredible body and colour pale yellow with a huge head of white foam. Taste is perfect balance between malt and hops, the grade of the roast malt is the one. Carbonation is a bit high but it makes a refreshing beer at the same time that is is delicious, Todeon (166), Höllviken, Sweden Aug 15, 2008 Bottle. hazy yellow color with a nice head. Aroma is full of bananas and some spicey notes. Flavor is banana and some citrus. Intenso73 (2), , Italy does not count Aug 13, 2008 Schiuma discreta e compatta, non svanisce all’istante, il frumento si sente bene, nessuna fastidiosa nota metallica, magari scarseggia un poco nel corpo, ma vabbè c’e’ di molto peggio.
