Yep! This is an imported beer alright. I still have not grown a liking to foriegn beers yet, and my favorite type of hefe is american made. But this beer is pretty good for an import. I definitly think it’s the yeast they use that gives it it’s bananna flavor.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2016 Bottle. Really big white head. I believe that I never saw so much foam in hefeweizen, like this. Hazy, orange color. In nose classic banana and yeast notes, maybe some caramel. Flavor is also banana and some lemony notes. Full body. Sweet finish. Actually, not so carbonized. Overall: good.

Look: light yellow cloudy. white head with average retention. Aroma: wheat, fruity, green bananas, light spicy notes. Taste: light sweetness, light fruity sourness, low spicy bitterness. Flavour is classic weizen: wheat, spices, ethers. Good.

12 oz. bottle. Pour is pale gold and hazy with a very large 3+ finger fluffy white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, and spices. Similar taste, with hints of clove. Finish is light and refreshing, but has just a touch of tanginess.

Hazy dark gold with big white head. Aroma is a little fruity (not sure whether it is the usual banana though) with some herbal hops. Taste is not as fresh. Mostly bitter. Body is somehow thin and the texture is similiar to mineral water. Still above average weizen.

500ml bottle into a weizen glass. Thick pillowy white foam - three fingers (must pour carefully). Foam held for a while but disappeared quicker than I had hoped . Minimal lacing. Golden hazy colour. Aroma subdued - possibly pear? Something there but faint. Excellent mouthfeel with a long palate and lingering taste of banana lollies. Mimimal bitterness (as per the style), but not too sweet. Had been drinking guinness earlier in the day and this is a welcome change (several hours break in between). Not my favourite - but still very good. Would welcome a glass any time

A good standby hefeweizen with that nice characteristic banana aroma. Taste is less fruity and more flat and grainy.

50cl can. A bit too sweet, with notes of wheat, bananas, honey and white bread. No trace of alcohol, and the beer is quite refreshing, despite the sweetness.
