tomer (184), Israel Aug 23, 2007 Draught, deep orange colour and extremly hazy, nice big head, aromas of honey and wax. complex fruits in the mouth, especially mango and passion friut intermingled with noticeable alcohol. long friuty finish with some sourness. A wonderfully balanced beer and Probably the best beer i have drank of its kind up to now.
tedovertu (134), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA Oct 13, 2008 Great Hefe. Aroma of banana and clove. Medium murky amber\brown color. Extremely pleasant appearance and good mixture of flavors. On par with Ayinger. oteyj (346), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Oct 13, 2008 Pours hazy yellowisih amber with minimal head. Aroma is loaded with citrus and yeasty spice. Flavos is much the same- an excellent citrus flavor with great balance and yeast character. Palate is thick for a hefeweizen. Nice one. nbutler11 (221), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Oct 10, 2008 Pours a cloudy light orange color from the tap with a trim white head. Smells of lemon and faint banana with heavy flavors of wheat, citrus, and breadcrust. Quite possibly the standard for this style. FabioSound (5), Italy does not count Oct 6, 2008 I like this beer good for me and for my taste! ;) I like the color and the perfume... FabioSound weaselkenievil (390), Cheshire, England Oct 4, 2008 Bottle from my local bottle shop. Poured a dark gold / orange with a nice head and good lacing. Definitle banana and fruit in there. Something about this didn’t hit the target for me. I did add to my rate that it was the last beer in a very very heavy session and to try again to see if it deserves more respect.
