Pours hazy orange with a large white head. The expected banana and wheaty bread instantly recognisable in the aroma, along with oatmeal and just the slightest hint of cloves. Flavours include white bread, subtle banana and hints of cinnamon. Body seems slightly watery, but carbonation is good.

I normally don’t mind wheat beers, but this one’s got a sour, pungent bite that lingers, making the next sips harder and harder to take. It helps if you hold your breath and let the beer slide just down the center of your tongue. Sorry, not my style of brew. I received a crateful of random brews for X-mas and I’m gonna slog through then all.

My favorite Hefe. Pours light gold almost yellow with a good head. Mild tangy aroma. Fresh lemon taste but not too sweet.Goes down real easy and clean. Another great food beer as it is not too filling and goes well with almost everything..

poured clear white producing a finger thick off white head. the body is hazy and cloudy that is light oarnge in color and the head fell at a medium rate making a thin cap on the top of the beer. the aromas are grassy and has some wheat in the nose also. theres some bitterness in the nose too with some yeast. the flavor is really balanced and carbonated really good making an enjoyable brew. its slightly sweet, slightly bitter, and slight malty. the germans know exactly what the hell their doing when it comes to making beer.

On draft in Cleveland, OH. Pours straw yellow with a big foamy white head. Taste is wheat, banana, clove. I’ve had this plenty of times in a bottle but fresh on draft is really the best.

I think that Franzi hefeweissbier is a very popular beer here in Greece. Nice weissbier with well balanced aroma and taste. Ideal for every moment during the day.

very wheaty, caramel-y, butter smell, rich, dry. Not something I will revisit.

Unfiltered, pale, almost no head, Sweet aroma, some complexities. Bread. Citrus, low in alcohol, bitterness. Flat. Thin. Maybe I had a shaken sample? Fairly ok. Gift from Peter / Krakow.
