3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
16.9 ounce bottle from Publix.
Appearance: Pours out a cloudy, golden-orange body with a rather large, fluffy, off-white head, though it quickly gasses out into just a very thin layering of fizzle.
Smell: Mild nose smelling of wheat malt, lemon wedges, ground coriander, and banana...the usual suspects.
Taste: Lightly tangy-tasting malted wheat. Small hint of raw grain. Light touches of lemon, coriander, and banana pass by the tongue. Hop bitterness remains very low, just enough to be felt. Things thin out considerably as you near the dry finish, but there is a bit more lemon to be had.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body, though lacking the creaminess of other weiss beers. In place of that a little more carbonation and tanginess.
Drinkability: It’s a nice Hefe. It does everything well.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Btl pours cloudy dull golden color with a huge dense billowy head that hangs around forever leaving lots of lace on glass. Aromas of fruit, banana, wheat bread, yeast, minerals, citrus and a hint of clove. Tastes of sweet wheat, bread, yeast, banana and clove. Light body, heavy carbonation, tingly and tart mouthfeel and a soft, sweet finish. Very crisp, clean flavors and a nice tartness make this a very easy to drink beer. A superb and classic weissbier!!!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Golden and hazy with a frothy white foam head. Aroma: typical banana dominance with a bit of clove. Taste: Light, bready malt with a pleasant clove spice. Mouthfeel: medium (on the lighter side of the style) with a moderate carbonation. Finish: clean and balanced with some lingering clove spice and no noticeable hop bitterness.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Huge fluffy head, Banana and cloves rush right to the nose, the usual hazy golden appearance. Truly a classic and a staple for the beer style. One of my favorites!

Drank with Marijn at home (new room) 12-12-2014. An okay beer, ordinary. Fine fresh, weiss taste, but also watery beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Banana nutty yeasty aroma and flavor. Very nice and full flavored yet refreshing. Maybe slight lemon citrus in there, but mild lemon. Very nice. Yeast flavors remind me of some Belgian ales.
