Had once back in 07ish. A much more thin all around version of the classic. Not as tasty, but very drinkable.

500ml bottle, 5.2 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Foamy white head with satisfying retention and lacing. Clear straw coloured body. Semi-sweet banana aroma, smoothly spiced. Balanced taste of mild spices, mid-sweet banana and dough. Mid-sweet ending, not much fruits. Medium bodied. Okay weizen (Bokhuset with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 10.09.2014).

Clear light golden. Huge, fizzy, White head. Estery aroma, tiny hint of butter. Flavour is malty with notes of yeast and fruit. Very drinkable, but that’s about it.

Kristall-version of the regular Hefeweizen in this series, with snow white, sticky, thick head and light golden blonde colour, cristal clear as expected for the style. Herbal and wheaty aroma with sweetish pale malts, apple, white pepper, orange peel, cloves; taste of pale malts, almost Pilsener-like in onset, subdued fruitiness and some lemon, dry even for the style, with freshly sourish wheat in the finish.

Off white mega head. Clear golden body, faint straw tones. Normal lacings. Aroma; sweet malts and sweet wheat malts, grass lemony notes, coriander and clove, different light flowers. Tate; sweet and very fruity malts, modest grainy hops, coriander, ginger, sweet ripe banana, sweets. Nice on palate. Sweet clean finish. [50cl. brown btl. 5.0%abv. Couleur jaune dorée, forte mousse blanche. On voit beaucoup de pétillance. Nez fruité, blé, épices, notes bananes. Gout doux malté fruité, fin bananes. Bonne pétillance.

500 ml bottle. Pale canary yellow, perfectly clear (well, duh!), with a big, creamy, fluffy and moderately persistent bright white head. Spicy nose (nutmeg and cinnamon) lots of fruit esters as usual, some unripe banana and red apples, light peppery and rye bread presence. Quite light tasting, not a lot going on, perhaps for being filtered and so without any yeast influence. Very sweet, maybe too much actually. Light astringency, pleasent pale malts, mild citric/lemony taste, just a hint of sourness. Clean and crisp overall. Lively carbonation, light to medium body, slightly creamy texture. Decent.

500ml bottle into a weizen glass. Pours a bright gold with a large white head that slowly fades away. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Tastes of bananas too. Very nice.
