Pale golden color, lots of lace and carbonation. Spicy almost peppery yeast aroma. Smooth flavor, lightly yeasty and malty. Finish is some what dry and mildly peppery. Quite similar to other Franziskaner brews.

Pale yellow with a massive white head leaving some lacing. Fruity, weisse beer nose, spicy, grainy and floral. Nice flavor, much lighter than the unfiltered weisse beers, yet still retains the tropical fruitiness and spice. Light body with moderate carbonation. Very drinkable - a nice summer beer.

Straw yellow with a large frothy head, slowly diminishing. Smell banana. Taste like banana and clove.

A clear golden color with a large rocky head that is off white. The aroma is somewhat skunky with some wheat aroma, hops and banana. The flavor is of banana and wheaty with some nice sweetness.

Very little color - you can literally read through it; pleasant aroma, but the taste is closer to the color - not much there - and has an almost smoky flavor

Has a bad yellow color but a fabulous citrus filled aroma. The taste is a blend of banana, cloves, and yeast. High points.

OOOOhhh those tiny bubbles! Lots and lots of them form the white rocky head of this light gold, clove and banana aroma filled libation! Wheat malt and cloves dominate while the banana lingers in the back of the aroma. It's missing the yeastiness of it's cousin the hefe weizen because it's filtered, but I don't miss it that much. Wheat malt flavor is up front of this well balanced beer with the cloves and fruity banana esters not quite as apparent as in the aroma. Unfortunately, this one aslo seems a little oxidized(papery), but I've had worse examples. Finishes dry and clean with a light clove aftertaste. Light bodied and highly effervescent with a dry mouthfeel. German wheats are one of my favorite styles and this one's no exception. It's not terribly complex, but it's a straight forward summer session beer that seems to be rock solid most every time.

Beautiful golden blond with a powerful white head. The beer permeates malt along with a citrusy and hoppy hint into the nose. My mouth was filled with more malt but the citrus and hop seemed non-intrusive. Finishes smooth but leaves a slightly bitter citrusy taste on the tongue. Not bad and worth trying.

Another fine German Wheat brew. It poured a large white head. There was little lacing on the sides of my glass. Carbonation could be seen rising to the top. It had a smooth taste to it which is what I really enjoy. This is a brew that I would enjoy drinking on a good night.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew pours a large head of fine to medium sized white bubbles. It has a transparent light orange color and some carbonation rising from the glass. Its aroma is a mild hoppy aroma. I sensed a mild fruity flavor with a hint of fizz in the after taste. All-in-all it is a very nice drinkable brew.
