Looks very nice in the glass. Good typical Weizen taste but none of the promised flavours, only a little bit of banana. A good beer but nothing special on it.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2013 Bottle from Edeka, pours a murky red-brown with a fast-settling head, banana and hints of popcorn and lemon on the nose, body is typically weiss but with a citric tang, a little melon and a faint hint of coffee in the mid-body, then a dry peppery finish with a slight burnt caramel edge. Second time around it’s better - like a weiss with a decent body to it.

(bottle) pours a murky ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of wheat, clove and light cinnamon, with a hint of lemon peel and vanilla. flavour is mostly caramel and clove, very heavy, with a light sweet spiciness, some popcorn and a very starchy finish. heavy-bodied with fizzy carbonation.

29.11.12(Flasche):bersteinfarben mit sehr festem Schaum, gleichmäßig trüb.Es riecht stark bananig, von den auf dem Etikett beschriebenen Melone-, Dunkle Beeren- und Aprikosearomen finde ich nicht. Allerdings finde ich Weizen und Brot. Der Antrunk ist leer. Es fehlt völlig an Geschmack und Vollmundigkeit. Der Abgang ist leicht fruchtig aber durch den Weizen ziemlich kratzig. Wässrig und leer beschreibts ganz gut. Schade.

bottle from kappldav123. Cloudy amber, brownish golden colour, large off-white head. Yeasty, wheat and slightly fruity. Quite nice.

Bottle. Reddish amber color. Creamy head. Banana and red berries in the citric aroma. Banana and citrus in the flavor. raspberries. Friendly, but too sweet.

16.9 oz bottle - 14 October 2012, Frankfurt airport, at Reingold (first week open). Pours cloudy darker gold with beautiful white head, fluffy and lasting. Aromas of bread, bananas, with pepper and spice. Taste is of the same with more spice. Good medium-full palate, bigger than regular Hefe. Long finish with pepper. Awesome.

Egészen sötét színe van ahhoz képest, hogy világos búza. Illata és íze igen hasonlít az alapsörhöz, viszont sokkal déligyümölcsösebb, kissé karamellásabb és malátásabb. A magasabb alkoholtartalom sem lóg ki belőle és az utóíz is igen frissítő. Szép búza sör, igencsak itatja magát. Remélem, hogy a jövő évit is kitudom majd kóstolni.

(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a tall and firm slightly tanned foamy head. Pronounced wheat-malty aroma with notes of caramel, chestnuts and cloves, as well as fruity accents of banana and traces of exotic fruits. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Wheaty cara-malty taste with caramel, a mildly nutty touch and delicate notes of banana; moderately sweet and slightly bitter-tart finish, followed by fruity notes in the aftertaste while the alcoholic strength is fairly muted. Decent Weizen with Märzen strength. 27.IX.12

Bottle: Cloudy, deep golden, creamy small off-white head, moderate sweet fruity (raspberries) nose with a toasty-wheaty background; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour, soft, almost full bodied; sweet fruity-wheaty finish with a vinous touch, delicate pleasant tartness in the aftertaste.
