Fantastic beer, one of my favourites. Aroma of banana. Pours bernstein colour with thick frothy beige head. Roasted malt and high abv give it a sweet, malty flavour with hints of caramel. Palette is very smooth. Similar to Duckstein Weizen but with much more flavour. Can only recommend.

16.9 oz bottle - 14 October 2012, Frankfurt airport, at Reingold (first week open). Pours cloudy darker gold with beautiful white head, fluffy and lasting. Aromas of bread, bananas, with pepper and spice. Taste is of the same with more spice. Good medium-full palate, bigger than regular Hefe. Long finish with pepper. Awesome.

Cloudy amber (darker than the Hefe-Weiss) with high foam and durable. Aroma of clove, caramel and alcohol. Sweet, caramel, bitter and acid. A little more alcohol (6%). An excellent beer, loved it!

Drinking from a 0,5 l bottle. A fresh hoppy aroma. Some fruit like apricot and banana. The unclear orange beer has some head and it lasts. A sweet sour taste, banana, spices. Sweet for a Weizen. Medium carbonated.

Bottle, purchased in a Munich grocery, April 2013, and consumed about one year later, a few months past the date printed on the bottle. Lots of banana, some clove. Sweet. Well carbonated, opaque orange color. Full flavor with a light, airy palate. One of the best wheat beers have ever had.

Poured into a Sierra Nevada & Dogfish Head IPA glass (blasphemy? I don’t think so) from a bottle. Deep golden orange mahogany color with a frothy, creamy head with both medium sized and very small, fine bubbles with no problems staying above the glass rim. Aroma is cloves, banana, spicy, some floral notes, figs, a touch of apfelstruddel. Taste: fruity, spicy, some maltiness (caramel). Palate: medium body, proper carbonation. Good.
