Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany May 28, 2008 bottle. Clear strawy yellow, large head. Light-bodied but full of flavour. Very tasty for a beer with only 4.3% ABV. Hints of honey, grassy hops and grain. Well-balanced, reminded me of a Czech desítka. pivnizub (3770), Porúří, Germany May 22, 2008 Bottle (Servus, Stefan!): Pale golden to golden with a quite stable, loose white head; clean grainy nose with a fruity and distinctive herbal hoppy touch; soft MF, light bodied, mild bitter-sweet flavour; mild but bitter-grainy finish. Not bad for a beer of 4.3%........... MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany May 14, 2008 (bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a big but not very persistent frothy white head. Moderately sweet and slightly grainy aroma with notes of white bread, herbal hops and a tinge of acidity. Light-sweet flavour with a balanced level of bitterness, light bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Light-grainy malty taste with herbal hoppy notes; quite dry, moderately hop bitter finish with a slightly papery malty touch. Nice one regarding the low abv. Inconspicuous (14.05.08). jbrus (4095), Delft, Netherlands Nov 13, 2004 Grainy aroma. Pale yellow color, white head, good lace. Grain, flowers, light sweet, very light. Just what to be expected of a pale lager, boring.
