2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 33 cl from Spar - Feldkirch (A). Blonde-green gold, average head very fugacious. Nose of spicy malt, honey, wax. Which increase to the taste, soft and sweetened, spicy and sugary with honey with hints of candle and grassy bitter. Itís not downright rude.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Advent Calendar #9. Another shitty Austrian beer. Absolutely zero hops whatsoever, but sure was a lot of sweetness. My friend couldnít even drink more than a sip, and they like the fruity beers. I know taste is subjective, but itís hard to imagine anyone ordering a second one of these. Would go well in a certain work by Dante. Odd to be the fourth to give it 1.4 but thatís what the numbers added up to, must be a sign (of the devil).

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Golden pour with a small white head. Aroma is honey, cereals, honey, honey. Flavour is incredibly sweet. Honey, honey and more honey. Thereís a hint of bitterness and grain and finishes with an unpleasant lingering cardboard note. Oh man, this is the second absolutely terrible beer Iíve had of the CBAC.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, Dec 9th Beer Advent Calendar. Iím rating this one before the Dec 8th beer only because I have it in my hot little hand as I type. I will begin by saying this is the first truly awful beer of the batch. I will not be finishing it. Hazy orange-gold, robust white head that actually does retain as a thin layer for a long time. It is still there, and I poured this nearly three quarters of an hour ago. Aroma is sweet cereal, corn syrup, and faint soap. Flavour is very sweet cereal up front, with a metallic edge in the finish. The mid-palate is empty, like a cheap euro-lager or malt liquor. Presario is right-- there is an off-putting chemical taint to this, like you get in cheap fruit cocktail that is meant to seem "fresh" after sitting in a can on the shelf for 2 years. I donít know how this beer gets its spice/herb/vegetable style designation (there are no english words on the label anywhere), but whatever was added to this beer failed utterly to make a drinkable beverage. Drainpour.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2012 Pours a hazy golden with a nice white hat that leaves some lace. Aroma is malts and honey with a bit of citrus spice . Taste is honey and malts up front with some carmelized sugar and a mild grassy hoppiness on the finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml brown bottle. Pours out golden, hazy. Head is bright white, a bit creamy, nice rings of sticky lacing. Nose is sweet with honey and grain. Taste has grains, honey, a little sponge candy, light lemony note in the background. Finishes a bit drier, grainy with a trace of herbal hops. Medium body, decent lively carbonation. Pretty average.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Dec 9 CBAC. Itís only Christmas once a year so have an early beer today. Amber with a light head. Rough aroma, seems to have a lot of off notes, grain, alcohol and chemical. I beleive Honig is Honey. Knowing that I can place the honey taste and sweetness in the beer. The honey is needed cause the underlying beer is very rough and hard to drink. Seems to be a chemical off flavour that ruins the beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured out a lovely hazy light orangy gold with a soft white sticky head. Interesting aroma - mead like honey, feet, flour, light medicinal quality. The flavour is also interesting with some odd sweet / tart citrus push, herbal bite, sharp bite, honey, grain. I drank the whole thing but Iím not convinced why. At least it was interesting for a bit. The term íWorld Seriesí annoys me.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head that leaves only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is predominantly cereal grains with a hint of citrus. Taste is a bold grainy malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with decent carbonation. Not good and not recommended.
