Tap at Taco Mac Decatur. Light amber color. Aroma is toasty grain and a little bit of grassy hops. Flavor has a touch of burnt grain and some caramel sweetness. Grassy hay hop profile on the finish.

Appearance: Dispensed a clear, amber-gold body with a white head that slowly settles into a persistent ring. Smell: Aroma smelling of lightly toasted bready barley, supplemental oat notes, minor citrus, and a substratal spiciness. Taste: Lightly crisped barley grains with ample sweetness and rounded out with lightly nutty oats. Faint fruitiness. Lightly floral, citrusy hops with an even fainter woodiness. A bit passive, hopwise. Dry and malty at the end, with a bit of bitterness riding out beyond the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A fine, good beer. While not a monumental or even memorable special release, it did its job well at washing down the Taco Mac Shaved Roast Beef’wich.

Draft at Taco Mac. Pours orange and clear with thin white head. Aroma is bready with hints of spicy hop, but mostly toasty bread crust. Flavor follows aroma: malt-forward bready, toasty with touches of caramel sweetness. Light but nicely balanced bitterness and hop flavor emerge toward mid-palate. Balanced finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and medium bodied. Overall, a nice session beer.

On Tap at Taco Mac in Chattanooga. This poured a dark orange color with a small head. The aroma consists of citrus and caramel. The flavor is rather bitter with not much malt present. Some citrus and caramel flavors are present. Overall I thought this was a nice session beer.

On draught @ Taco Mac Kennesaw. Amber pour with just a small head. Aroma was subtle hops with and toasty caramel malts. I will say its clean, nothing agressive about this guy. Flavors were right on par with the aroma, laid back hoppiness with a toast character. Not bad.

Fred Brick Tap @ TacoMac, olp. Amber color. Nice medicinal, hop florals. Flavor of toasted oat cereal, followed up by a wooded hop bitterness. Finishes with a full fruitiness and grass hop bite. Finishes like a fruity, well hopped Pale Ale. Very nice session beer. Soft, well hopped, refreshing. I need to clone this beer. I could drink it forever. 8,3,9,4,16
Happy Birthday Fred!
