3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 theisti (2441) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - FEB 3, 2012
16 oz. plastic cup draft from the back room at the Brew Pub in Fredericksburg, Texas. The pour is a hazed copper red orange, with a pretty loose light tan head. The aroma is pretty faint, what is present is some floral, along with a bit of resin. The taste pick up, starts with the resinous bitter, shows grapefruit, along with cracker malt, and finishes with a touch of a herbal mineral element. The flavors all are fresh, though are not terribly "put together". The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation, and a dry bitter finish. This was a an easy drinking beer, and my favorite of the four I tried here.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mmmbeer (1046) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Sampler at the joint- served a transparent copper tan color, minimal white head formed but barely laced. Aroma of some resin- but that was about it. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, very little, if any caramel could be found in the malt, another muted hop wave in the middle, finish from my notes just said,"brisk". Take that for what it is.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BarZigKin (510) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - JUL 5, 2010
On tap at the brewpub, shared with DarkBeerChick. Poured a deep, honey colored body with a bit of ivory head that left some lacing. Aroma was typical for an IPA---some piney hops and a bit of malty sweetness. Citrus (orange zest) hops on the end. Flavors follwed suit, however, not much punch in the hops (flat, or "old"). Decent malty sweetness, but a bit unbalanced.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ansermadide (864) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Orange-brown, caramel-like colored with a fine, bubbly off-white head. Slightly skunky caramel aroma with sweet hops. Acidic hops dominate the palate with caramel malts and a bitter, cheek-watering finish. Nice dose of hops, for sure. Overall, a little weak-bodied with odd characteristics, but good... yummy alpha acids make it worth your while.

Growler from Fredericksburg. Orange pour with a creamy white head. Soft aroma of hops, caramel, and citrus. Bitter taste with citrus, grass, and caramel. Dry finish
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cavie (3248) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - APR 3, 2010
Growler courtesy of Fratto. Color is a very pretty copper orange. Clear with a gentle white head. Smells of hops right away. Spicy floral hops with citrus notes. Taste is gentle hops with a bitter kiss. Dry flavors with some amount of floral notes. Not bad. A little dry.
